Busy busy busy
Oh my , the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 146 sure had a busy 2014. Our Children and Youth program brought us to a third school at Camp Pendleton. We handed out Backpacks, Auxiliary Halloween Coloring books with crayons, countdown to Christmas ribbons, handmade toys along with lots of laughs and hugs. We have been feeding the Wounded Warriors at Camp Pendleton, adopted a military family for the year, helped sponsor many wreaths for Wreaths Across America at Miramar National Cemetery, donated to a variety of foodbanks. We have attended local volleyball tournaments with the Oceanside Starlings and gave the opportunity for anyone who wanted to sign Christmas Cards and Thank You cards to be sent to our veterans overseas. We have worked with Operation America cares and sent many LOVE boxes to those far from home. Unit 146 has attended the 911Flag Raising at El Camino High School along with serving and welcoming Veterans at the High School annual Veterans Day Program. Many members volunteer at the Oceanside VA clinic and Tri City Hospital. These are just a few things the Oceanside American Legion Auxiliary Unit 146 has been up to in 2014…..
We are always accepting new members, if you are interested in helping support our veterans and there families email me at ala146oside@gmail.com

Our new WEBSITE has launched
American Legion Auxiliary 146 & El Camino High School have done it again….Mr Grable the web design teacher was kind enought to have student Maury build us a website before graduation. In Maury’s research he learn lots about the American Legion & the American Legion Auxiliary and all the great things we do in the community. In visiting with Mr. Grable he told us how Maury is going to college this year and has a intership with the Vista Fire Department. Good luck Maury and many THANKS from the ladies at Unit 146
